i can't tell u much either, my os is win7 32bit. my system ran smothly for weaks till i installed and used the program, so i'm pretty sure it's causing the freezes. it freezes not instantly: more and more programs and functions lock up and finally even the mouse isn't movable anymore, this whole "freezing" takes a couple of seconds. so u see it coming but u can't do anything, because ctrl+alt+del and co don't work. situation can only be resolved by hitting the resetbutton at the pc. because it just freezes, it's hard to provide u with any hard data.

well, you can help me ...

download Process Explorer (Microsoft app)
http://technet.microsoft.com/cs-cz/sysinternals/bb896653(en-us).aspx
run it and double click FileUploader process ... switch to "performance graph" tab and the most important thing is how much memory it consumes and what is CPU load ;)

can you try to run FileUploader and not to upload?
does it freeze without uploading?
