It should update fine. But I have discovered some weird behavior and I will check what I can do about it.

EDIT: I have made some changes which should fix this problem in future versions.

Exactly. It worked absolutely, absolutely FINE up to this moment, and it refuse to work anymore. NO changes to WinXP SP3 or anything... Yes, few services are disabled, but even starting them does NOT help.

Again - is there ANYTHING that can be done to prevent these update messages to show up?

PS. in FAQ I read that manual update by just getting the exe is fine, so I did it and yes, it works and did not bother me anymore. But I had to allow the program to run in WinXP w/o asking me again, so maybe there was some signing-in difference that prevented the update to work?
We see in the next update.

PS2. option (like -noupdtchk) would be great way to get around things.

So it does not want to update itself?

As registred user, I use FileUploader v7.2.3 and it bother me with updating to v7.2.5 (currently). Altrought my Windows XP SP3 is a little bit optimized, it works well and nicely and up to this version, ALL UPDATES are working fine for me.

After dowloading the update the program end and NEVER start again. When started manually, old version run...

I tried:
- manually starting Windows Installer service and Encryption service (both are on manual starting) (no help)
- clearing all file attributes into Tools (dir, where FU reside) (no help)

...

Is there some startup option or hidden option for not looking for updates, as temporal solution...? Since the Mega.co.nz is working, I did not need updates that much ...  ;)
