Yes, but it is the ONLY one filehost with encryption. So there is basicaly nothing that can compare to Mega.co.nz, not to mention the speed (5 to 6MB on Pentium 4 (3.4GHz) in Chrome, 8,2MB on Duron 1600MHz using JavaScript based FRD).

And indeed - it is not going to be easy. Even the browsers need the plugin to make the Mega work. But it is the only way to have files that stay uploaded and not get deleted kinda quickly...

I still study it, I did not forget. It is a lot of work :(

I used their upload application and I did not like it for there reasons:
1) it did not provide the link to the uploaded file
2) it install itself to start automatically while windows boot (no option to disable this)
3) when trying to remove it manually (Autoruns and disable everything Mega added to startup stuff) it killed my WinXP SP3

Therefore I think that the Mega support is worth 20 Euros from me. Who will join the bid to make it more interesting to the autor to add...?

PS.

other filehost but this uses encryption keys in all their files

Witch is exactly the main reason for Mega - no more deleted uploads (at least not so quickly)

the whole process of uploading requires encryption. People would then try to upload 10-100MB/s to MEGA but processor can't handle so many encryptions processes.

In that case, let the's thread this proces as much as possible and inform users that probably hi-end i7 is required to 100MBy upload speeds :) But hey, Mega cannot handle such speeds, after all, so speeds around 920kBy are possible on even old Pentium 4 processor (3.4GHz, but suxxking VIA chipset and 2T ram addressing only :( ).
Therefore i5 or i7 can handle pretty much at least 20MBy speeds = noproblemo as far, as CPU time go.

I didn't say it is impossible, it is just difficult and they use a little different mechanism of uploading.

Now I'm trying to find out why it may be impossible to intergrate MEGA to FU because no other filehost but this uses encryption keys in all their files, and (I think) the devs of FU either have little or no knowledge of how to add encryption keys for FU, or they have tried it but found it was impossible.  Lets face it, unless we have a S-class hacker or genius at this sort of thing, we'll never see MEGA added here.

Small BUMP for the only one good sharing site ever!

1) it is fast (and I mean hollly holly sh*t it is fast, sometimes topping for me at 8MB/s!)
2) is is secure - the files are ENCRYPTED, so no more deleted downloads (unless there are rat somewhere that leak what it is there...)

Therefore I love the Mega.co.nz site! Most 4channers are uploading there too, so that is a good sign and one have to go with the flow.

it is not necessary to be so offensive ...

It is just - uploading to MEGA is not that easy as the whole process of uploading
requires encryption. People would then try to upload 10-100MB/s to MEGA but processor
can't handle so many encryptions processes.

So it is better to use their optimized app. I would not be able to provide such comfort
in my program because it is not designed for this.

Everybody is pissed of at Zoom for not having MEGA as one of the Hosters......he has told you it isn't easy to have them....what do you not get in that statement???

Zoom you do a GREAT job updating this SUPERB Appplication and although I also would like to see MEGA as one of the hosters that you list, I accept your word that it is difficult.

Anyway, MEGA has a very quick uploading tool within it's program.

Guys lets support Zoom instead of moaning....life is too short to give others grief

Definite bump for Mega.co.nz, as this hosting show amazing speeds. 6 or 8 files downloading at once using FreeRapidDownloader and getting 8.1 - 8.2MBy speed! Whoa!  O0

This is the best hosting ever, wow! ;) It shall be supported, tough it won't be easy, seems.
