Scramble Setting
« on: 02-07-2015, 21:59:16 »
Hi Zoom,

Loving the new scramble feature you've added.

However, it only works for single rar files.

What I mean is, if you have multiple rars like this:

Code: newbielink:javascript:void(0); [nonactive]
Application.part1.rar
Application.part2.rar
Application.part3.rar
Application.part4.rar

It will name them random like this:
Code: newbielink:javascript:void(0); [nonactive]
a1FoJ2WpMXQ.rar
YCRwgPtDEGD.rar

Is it possible to make them name like this instead?
Code: newbielink:javascript:void(0); [nonactive]
YCRwgPtDEGD.part1.rar
YCRwgPtDEGD.part2.rar
YCRwgPtDEGD.part3.rar
YCRwgPtDEGD.part4.rar

Just a suggestion/question, I was going to add it in "bugs" but I think that's the wrong place.

It is in some experimental stage. Good to hear any ideas.

Maybe a quicker way to enable/disable the feature? Settings> Misc > Scramble seems so much effort IMO.
I wouldn't need to disable the feature if it didn't rename the entire parts though. ;)

It's understandable about the feature being in experimental stage. No rush :)

Keep up the good work.

Update:

It's now renaming them correctly, however, it still would make the parts corrupt.

Example:
/dUbihjkurlj1JRjZ.part1.rar.html
/yHKUqe8xnwHjpekF.part2.rar.html
/yThRd18KZRt2vAOd.part3.rar.html

The program should only give them one random name per bulk upload, or they can't be extracted.

Or a better way would be to not scramble ".part" files and only scramble single rar.
That's if you can't get it to work properly :P

I see. I don't know right now how to do it because my program does not know which files are a group :/

No problem..

Could you add an additional feature to this setting where you can find and replace.

For example:

Find & Replace : E with 3

Original Name: release
Scrambled: r3l3as3

=====

Find & Replace : Internet with 1N73RN37
Find & Replace : Download with D0WNL04D
Find & Replace : Manager with M4N4G3R

Original Name: Internet.Download.Manager
Scrambled: 1N73RN37.D0WNL04D.M4N4G3R

=====

Find & Replace : [space] with _

Original Name: Internet Download Manager
Scrambled: Internet_Download_Manager

=====

Find & Replace : [space] with .

Original Name: Internet Download Manager
Scrambled: Internet.Download.Manager

=====

Find & Replace : & with and
Find & Replace : [space] with _

Original Name: Barnes & Noble
Scrambled: Barnes_and_Noble

_____________________________

I think you get the idea, basically a section where we can find and replace multiple words.

I understand. You will probably need multiple find&replace, right?

Yes, that is correct :)

If it's too hard to implement I'll donate towards it.
