An option to disable the file description
« on: 08-10-2011, 21:41:31 »
Hello,
If possible it would be nice to have no description for the file. I realize there is an option to change default description but if it is left empty then default description will be used. So there doesn't seem a way to have no description at all.

Thanks for replying.

I actually tried that already and it uses default description in that case. It seems it has to be at least 1 character or it will use default description.
And the reason I am asking about this is because it messes up my file list. Each file with a description takes 2 rows instead of one my screen.

And btw is there any way to upload files with spaces in the names. For example "First File.rar". If I upload that via FTP it will be named the same. But if I upload it via z-o-o-m uploader it will add an underscore and it would be "First_File.rar".

As an additional request related to this, an option to set the description to the filename minus file extension.
e.g. file is "The sleepy dog.mov" and therefore description is set to "The sleepy dog"
