Anti Black List
« on: 28-09-2010, 19:27:42 »
Is the anti black list function on each server, or Rapidshare only? Seems that Uloz.to doesn't allow loading a file that was once deleted (due to it's hash key). So if I check the Anti black list, would it be also functional and add 1b to the archive?

Does it matter if it's one single archive or e.g. part1, part2, part3, ... ?

Is the funstion also functional with .zip archives? Does the encryption (128bit, 192bit, ...) also matter?

a) so zip or 7z files are non-functional to be applied this function on?
b) if i upload a RAR file, than it's deleted and I load it again with the anti blac-list mode and the 2nd file is also deleted, when I try to delete for the 3rd time, the file will have the same hash code as the 2nd? so in face, it can be applied only once?

And if I have file that I divide by WinRAR to several .part files and I have for exaple this:

movie.part1
movie.part2
movie.part3
movie.part4
movie.part5
movie.part6
movie.part7

Than all URLs at rapidshare are abused as illegal. I upload it using the anti black list mode. Will than the files be joinable when 1bit will be added to each? Or will it cause some confusion when counting the check at joining?

eg. rapidshare checks if the file has been already uploaded and then checks if the file has been deleted because of violating terms and the ban such files from being uploaded

and this function makes it possible to upload such files

IN OTHER WORDS: When you upload warez and they later delete it, the same file can't be loaded again (no matter the name is). They have a tool that checks the 'core' of each file (it is actually the HASH key) and it doesn't allow to save the file on RS again whether the core is still the same. However, this perfect tool can add 1 bit to the core, so it will be different but (as said) still functional!

it changes the MD5 checksum of the file (RAR) so it can be uploaded even if blacklisted (eg. on rapidshare)

Sorry if this is an overly obvious or stupid question, but can I assume this anti-blacklist function doesn't in any way interfere with the proper extraction of multi-part password-protected RAR files?

Edit: Okay, reading further in the forum, I now gather that this anti-blacklist function does not work for multipart RAR files. Is that correct?

I think it should work for multipart archives - I haven't tested that but there is no reason why it shouldn't work

When I upload a file which is not a rar archive, then toggled the "RAR anti-blacklist" on, will my upload become a rar archive? Or I have to make it rar first before uploading?

Also, does the function work for other hosts aside rapidshare?

There is nothing like that in my program. Activate it only when needed.
