I have a couple of sites hosted on Awardspace.

I just want some upload/download ability for when I and perhaps a couple of friends want to upload stuff for sharing between us or for web access for myself.

Is this software suitable for that?

I can just upload it to my host and it can be installed and will work there?

I am not sure. My program is a desktop app for uploading. You need a PC with Windows.
Have you tried to download my app from my homepage to see how it works?
