As the subject says ... quite problematic !!
I did dump a bug report for you yesterday
-
it's definitely not a program's issue - all their native tools and remote upload aren't working either, let's wait a bit
-
in premium account ... there is now defaultly 25GB storage limit (they don't delete such data) ... if you want more, you can set it in settings (Settings for storage limit) ... but they can delete it in 90 days
-
It doesn't give link after 100% of uploading or it breaks during upload.
It didn't help me, because I didn't have a such problem despite I've got more than 40 GB files on my Premium Account.
This problem appeared today, so I think these are short period time indispositions...
-
haven't you read that you have to change your account settings?
this is not short-time thing, this is just the new settings
-
But where is it? In settings of my account on rapidshare.com there is no such thing...
-
in the new premium section there is "Settings" section and last option is "Settings for storage limit"
-
Oh, in the new premium zone.
I set "Save files even if account is full".
-
and ok now?
EDIT: if you dont set it, you can store 50GB on RS in premium account ;)
-
But on second account I've 90 GB and I still could upload files, till now. I hope setting "Save files even if account is full" will works correctly.

I can't see that option anywhere in my setting
OK found it in the new settings ... wasn't done reading in the thread :)
-
No, it's not good. The situation is the same...
UP: Send(1) (SocketError:Socket Error # 10053/Software caused connection abort.) (rapidshare.com)
-
this is not because the settings, it's because you upload files bigger than 200MB
-
I'm not sure that is file bigger than 200 MB - this is 209715200 bytes - exactly 200 MB. I uploaded files like this via your application before and I never have any problems with the size of file.
I think this problem'll be solved with the next version (5.5.0) of File & Image Uploader. I've got similar situations before and problem was delt, when the new vers. was released.
-
I think RS supports only 200 000 000 B ;)
-
So why for a year of uploading I haven't got any problem with the size of a file? And why it started last night, after updating to new version of prog.?
-
probably because RS changed? :D
-
I think RS supports only 200 000 000 B ;)
Actually RS supports 2 147 483 648 B (2 GB) .. This is for premium only though. Free is 200 MB
-
The limit of 200 MB hasn't nothing to do with this problem - I upload on Premium and I can upload files big to 2 GB.
I see that the new version has been released, so I check If this thing help...
-
2GB is allowed only in their manager because they use another method of uploading,
my app supports 200MB ONLY (I think they allow 200 000 000 B)
-
if you use RapidShareManager, even your account use over 25GB limit, you can keep upload to RS server
but it's very slow(for me about 15~30k)
and if you want to change setting, you have to use New Premium Zone , you can't see the new option in Old Premium Zone Area
once you change the setting of Upload limit , there is no turning back (when you already use over 25GB)
so if u want to keep your files alive forever, don't change the upload limit setting, and use RapidShareManager to upload your files
and the worst thing of Extend account is you need both Premium and Free RapidPoints to Convert, that's really bad thing.

This was a problem with a file... I packed archive again and all works - not a 200 MB files stuff...
