Title: New uploading engine is coming!

When I started developing File & Image Uploader, I didn't know too much about how to make it. Since that time I have learnd many things and I realized, that libraries from Microsoft are really bad (some user experienced "superspeed", many timeouts, bad proxy support, no speed regulation etc.).

Not long time ago I found great libraries and they are great I think. They have much more functions, less bugs and are cross-platform (can run on Linux, MacOS ...). Just my uploader is done for windows (so it won't be that portable). But I hope it will be possible to run it in Wine (in Linux).

So, there it is. You can try it and let me know, if "bad" things disappeared.
I hope that people who had any problem with File Uploader will now try this out and report if this is better :)

It will take me few weeks / months to remake my uploader. I don't know if I add any server during this time as this takes me a lot of time.
Only this week I was looking for a bug in the source of the libraries - just 1 line ;)

EDIT:
Please, if you can ... report:
- if it works, what system do you use, if any error appears, if link not appears
- if speed regulation works
- if this engine can reach max. speed of your connection (compare the speed with File Uploader)

if only i can with other hosts too :D

i hav a 1 gbps dedicated server....so if u need any testing for speed

no error

Sry I didn't know only can upload to Rapidshare so the file above reached the Max supported by RS,
Tried again, works so good~!
The speed is faster~!!!!

OS: Xp sp3 Chinese version
The speed as you see  >:D
Of cuz can reach the max speed of my connection ;)

yes, this is RapidShare testing upload tool only ... I need to know if it is worth it to remake my uploader :)

Speed is very good, and running very good on Debian linux.

na windows 7 64 bit to jede v pohodě až na to že uploaduje jen na rapidshare.com - rychlosti jsou normální.

New Upload Engine is very good. Speed is faster. Tested on Windows 7 RC.

Run Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy (with wine)

I use api upload to netload and it seem so work very bad (their server suck ...), other hosts ok?

no hlavni program je na 90% hotovy, zbyvaji dodelat ucty a upload obrazku :)
a pak jeste vsechny ostatni funkce musim projet mimo hlavni okno ...

na win 7 64 to jede jen by to chtělo vitegrovat do file uploader a upravit některé hostingy viz. třeba je tam jen 1. funkce (př. u tinypic nebo n-joy a pod) nebo (jako u youtube chybí možnosti) nebo se nezobrazí link a pak to hodit jako megaaktualizaci.
Lepší než předělávat celej program. :) je to Fantastický superprogram :)

Potvrdzujem, dnes som nahodil finalnu verziu win7 x64 a fup funguje v pohode....

it 's very good but som times when i upload on many servrs in the same time some of it give me error but in other ways it more than verry good

Z-o-o-m, you have any news about the new engine, then is the release date? - and are you going to remove the old app and replace it with the new app what have the new engine?

bad news :(

New engine doesn't work as good as I though. It still has a problem with Eset ESS/NOD (it shows uploaded 100% in 1 second and then it uploads). It can limit the max speed, so it can be fixed this way, but this is bad solution. And it appears that there is some issue with speed in windows (there is a windows bug which causes these libraries to upload slowly when you have broadband connection).

I need help to make some tests
- if you have fast connection (upload >1MB/s), your results are more important for me as I can compare the speed
- download this and test upload speed (10MB file is enough) ... new libraries #1

My OS: WINDOWS XP SP3 CHS
ANTIVIRUS: NOD32 Antivirus 4
File for uploading: Real Alternative.rar size: 16MB
max speed on my connection via browser LAN >10MBPS, when uploading files to hosts, always 1MB-2MB/S(different hosts with different speed, for example, Megaupload only 500K/S but Filefactory with 4-5MB/S, so I chooes the media speed.)

Test:

New uploader 1
First time:

As you see, the Uploader 1 is better than the 2.
But the 2 has only one exe file and smaller than 1.
The 2 is so smart but but speed is less than 1.

So, I prefer 1 to 2, cuz 1 is faster, the size doesn't matter for me.
