fileserve does not work in wine when fileserve changes to the new system
-
so there is No one to fix things up?
-
I don't know how right now
-
i just got reply from fileserve admin
they said
we changed it about 3-4 hours ago. Zoom Uploader guy needs to update his program.
-
my program works correctly in Windows (my program recognize new/old system),
but server settings is incorrect, it just reply incorrectly when using Wine :(
-
Hi,
I have one good and one bad news
- good news is that I found a way which works with new fileserve / uploadstation upload system in Wine
- bad news is that my program currently uses "older core" which fails now to upload, but I have a "new core" which works,
but there are some small things why I haven't implemented that
(eg. it does not like names which do not contain a-Z,0-9)
FileServe should work in Windows systems, in Wine it is problematic :(
so that's the deal
-
(eg. it does not like names which do not contain a-Z,0-9)
it is no Matter Dude but please allow FileServe uploading in wine sys
and when new version will out?
-
I would have to make a special build just for Wine as I can't maintain both at the same time ... I will try to contact FileServe, need to talk with some their programmer ;)
-
i am using windows server 2003 and i can't upload to fileserve... what is the problem? :( (i already send report)
-
it is because they have new uploading system and my program can't handle that (I can't fix that without updating internal core)
-
yes but if the problem is not only wine-related is more extended...in your opinion when you will be able to do this fixes?
-
as I said, I can't fix it without changing some critical stuff which is not that easy (I haven't tested it and there are some regressions)
-
seem to working again climbing fileserve if not momentary but for now will work and uploads the files to my account
regards ;)
PD. using version FileUploader 6.0.5 on Linux
-
yes, it is kind of 50:50 (fifty fifty :D) chance :)
-
the server that it does not work still uploadstation :( :( :( :(
regards ;)
-
ok, I asked fileserve for a small scriptchange ... and I've got official reply from fileserve
"We won't be changing the webupload anytime. The techs will not touch it, so it is how it is."
I will post here one Beta here soon ...
-
z_o_o_m it when you can put it to test
regards
-
@elpirataDVD

-
here it is :)

-
in stable (windows version) again file upload error
but in beta one working fine for now
-
This version should run on linux under wine on servers fileserve / uploadstation, if so I will try it;)
regards
-
the chance is still 50:50 ^^
onl inux with wine.
-
i wrote to fs waiting their answer...
i hope they fixed what they did it.
-
don't expect that ... I recieved a message that they won't change anything from one guy from fileserve :D
-
then they lost 1.7tb daily upload with many customer cause don't think gonna use ftp for fileserve...
-
I know ... I wonder why they don't cooperate :(
-
i follow a lot the thread in wjunction and imho they don't cooperate because they use preconfigured script that thery're not be able to easily edit it... it tooks almost one year to slightly change the file manager with minor stuff and now to have something more they're simply waiting the new script..
BTW thanks for the beta.. i will try it immediately
EDIT:
tried with fileserve and uploadstation and BOTH still don't work on my windows server 2003 :(
Uploadstation ftp is good but fileserve ftp sucks..zoom uploader is the oly way to have a good upload with fileserve :(
-
I thought it is their script :D
anyway, I have no idea why they change it when it worked well...
-
to upload bigger file, nor has any chance :(
interrupting the connection after 40 - 50 minutes to upload the FS
-
don't forget to send report from program
-
i tried to upload some small file to fileserve with the beta and all failed with the exception of these 2:
i reuploaded 2 or 3 times and these always works... the others always fails..
why all the other files fails and this don't?:(
-
i tried with windows 7 at home but it work there.. it isn't maybe a problem with windows server 2003 x64?
-
@zoom please read this because it's really weird..
I took 3 files of 400 mb and try to upload to fs dragging them.. like usual they fails... but i redrag the files and start 3 new uploads and all 3 successfully works! so i repeat this procedure 4 times and for each time the first time didn't work and the 2nd it did! how is this possible? is this helpful to fix the problem?
HERE An example

-
I really don't have any idea ... sorry, you have to try more times ;)
-
But why only me? :( icould ask to change my os to win server 2003 x32 if i only knew that the problem is the os but it's not sure :(
-
well, I run it on Win7 x64 and no problem ... I really don't have any idea what could cause that ...
we have to start spamming that guy from fileserve that we want a fix :D
-
At home me too! :(
I started but they started ignoring me :P
Maybe uploadstation guys listen more...
-
fileserve officially announced, that they have problems with teir api.
Dear FileServe users,
For the next 48 hours, the API will undergo maintenance. This renders some 3rd party programs (JDownloader, Fileserve Manager, et.al.) to not function properly.
We suggest that you use either our Web Interface, IDM or MiPony to download your necessary files.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused
Best regards,
FileServe
this should go untill tomorrow.
Meanwhile the API will work a few minutes till they try s.th. else.
So that could explain why the upload is working only sometimes.
After tomorrow, everything should be normal again ^^
-
i have to upload 2-3 times then links work 100%
and 1st 1-2 times error :(
why ?
-
Good news, fix found! Look forward to it ;)
