YEP:

If I have this setup
                         min count           max count
fileservice 1             2                         4
fileservice 2             4                         8
fileservice 3             3                         6
fileservice 4             1                          2

What I see is that FiU opens max 8 threads/slots for uploading and shares these among the fileservices, allthough it could open more "slots" for other services.

Could this be solved by having global define of MAX_total_upload_slots = XX

yes, you can upload up to 8 files at once in freeware version,
up to 100 files in registered versioin ;)

you can change this value in menu in main form (item "parallel upload count") ... this is the global setting you are looking for
