Deactivate the automatic update

(1/1)

Curtis:
Hello,

Is it possible to put an option to deactivate the automatic update for various reasons:

- want to keep an old version which is suitable

- in case of bugs

- in case the new one no longer supports the OS used

Thank you
Curtis

PS : I am a registered user (I can provide the evidence by MP)

Hi,
update is compulsory only ~once a year. You can update anytime during the year to test newer version - you can revert in case of a bug.
All new updates contains the same functionality and it supports the same OS version.

Curtis:
Hi,

I could no longer use File Uploader on Windows 2000 when you changed the compiler. It will do the same to me if you no longer support Windows XP, hence my request...

Well, W2K is prehistoric OS anyway. It was probably not intentional step, just some side-effect. I do not plan to make any changes in OS support.

Curtis:
Yes. It dates from 2012 or 2013 this case on Windows 2000. It was just in anticipation since I still have machines under XP. ;-)
