Speed measurement bug
« on: 13-11-2009, 20:08:58 »
Hi.  First off: love the prog.  Excellent.

Now, there's a bug with the speed counter in the bottom status bar.  I have a max upload capacity of 1.2Mb and am vcurrently uploading at that speed.

Over the last hour or so the speed/time counters in the status bar have been going up and down oddly.  Currently it's reporting 1.2KB/s (KB, not Kb) which is impossible on my line.  It's also reporting that there is only 45 mins remaining, yet it's already taken nearly 4 hours to upload less than half the upload.

Just thought you might like to know.

if your max. speed is 1.2Mb/s = 150kB/s, it is possible, that it shows 1.5MB/s,
because it is "peak" speed (just for a second), not all the time ... the final speed after upload finishes should be ok, right?

if it is uploading 1.2KB/s, it is possible that the server is slow or whatever ... many reasons :)
