« on: 26-09-2011, 23:01:08 »
many times i must stop upload and start again because upload  speed hang up on 19KB :/
If i`m restart manually  upload to filesonic speed up to max of my connection.
Zoom can you check this annoying issue  i think it is filesonic problem but maybe you can add automatic restart upload if transfer is stalled :)

i forgot write i`m use this prog with Wine  so far no problems except that:P

cheers

Yes, because not only Filesonic had these problems (e.g. Fileserve, Wupload and Netload has this problem from time to time too), i would highly appreciate an Auto-Restart Function ;) I have some (friendly meaning) suggestions for it:

To work porperly it has to measure over a little timespan instead of auto restart instantly at falling below x kb/s, couse sometimes it only stucks for a few seconds and returns then to higher speeds.

Also, the restart has to be delayed a few seconds, couse immediatially restarting an stopped File results in stucked upload again in the most cases.

So, for the optimal use of an Auto-Restart-Function, it have maybe to work like follows:

If File-Uploadspeed falls below x kb/s for x seconds, stop upload and restart after x seconds.

and

Max. times Auto-Restarting an file depends on "Try Count" in settings.

Optimum will be, that user can set the values spelled as x above him self (to adjust it pefectly for used line/hosters)  ;)

ben

I thing good time will be 120-150 second
If uploads stuck 2 minutes with that speed ther will no rise up again i`m tested that yesterday.
And 1GB file uploaded only 40% per one night (8hrs)
So autorestart will be very usefull:D
