I have no idea why this happens, probably some problem with downloading that file

I had the same problem. Solution? Offed all NOD's protection connected with internet & downloading files.

Now I'm starting to understand. Probably due to my corporate firewall restrictions I can CHECK for new version but i can't DOWNLOAD it. To be more precise, I can't reach http://z-o-o-m.110mb.com/down/FileUploader5.exe from behind our corporate proxy. :(

OK, so the bug here is quite different:
* the problem IS NOT "downloading" the update;
* the problem is that if the program is unable to reach the download or retrieve the file, it hangs and user is forced to close the task via Task Manager.
Sorry for incorrect bug reporting. :-[
