Uploading Speed Question
« on: 15-07-2009, 06:54:23 »
for a start, I have to say I really like this uploading manager  ;D

I have just this question.
I have a slow uploading speed (105KB/s), so i only upload a single file at a time to maximize it.
I've noticed though if somebody in my house is uploading, (i'll yell at them to stop till i'm done) the speed goes down and takes a long time to climb back to optimal speed (105KB/s) again.

Sometimes it takes so long, my file gets done uploading and it's still not my optimal uploading speed.

Is there any way to make the uploading speed go up faster?

no, if you share bandwidth, you never know where it goes :D
the speed is average, so the actual speed might be higher, but in average it can be low as you uploaded for long time with low speed ...

actually, what i mean is, the uploading speed was affected while somebody is uploading. but once they're done, i'll look at the manager's uploading speed gauge and it's slowly climbing back up. but too slow. is there no way to speed it up?

btw, the pause button doesn't really work. i'll click pause upload, it'll continue uploading the file. i thought it isn't working, and leave, then come back and realize the rest of the files are paused >.<
then the next time, i'll think to click on "Stop" instead but it doesn't resume where it stopped :(

will you be working on upload resume?

resuming support is NOT possible and never will be, uploading is NOT downloading :)

paused upload is only pause upload in queue, it does not affect uploading ...

and NO, there is no way how tho speed up the upload speed :)
